I'm looking for a name for something that's designed to be calm and non-stressful, non-distracting to use. Usually people use the term 'zen' for that, but that feels rather icky from an appropriation perspective.
Does anyone have any suggestions for similar terms, that are also similarly memorable/catchy?
@joepie91 honestly anything in relation to water or calm winds, seems like a great candidate
@joepie91 eb? mus? cobble (mehehe kinderkopjes)?
@joepie91 Would 'mindful' work for what you have in mind? The practice is based on Eastern traditions so from an appropriation perspective it might still not feel quite right.
@ohno Even aside from that, I think the common associations with that in 'western' cultures are rather unfortunate too :/
@joepie91
I'm not quite sure what you're going for, but I looked up some synonyms:
Tranquil(ity), still(ness), unruffled, seren{e,ity}, composed, collected
