Indeed I was not very polite, regretfully the 500 replyguys before you have exhausted all the energy I've had for approaching this subject tactfully, please file your complaint with them or at least do your part in discouraging future replyguys from doing so

(This is how basically every conversation goes with an "I've been nothing but polite to you" dude, including those who genuinely do not seem to recognize the problem with their behaviour)
