@raccoonformality@mastodon.gamedev.place "Reusable" masks is a bit vague here - do you mean washable masks? If so, no, they are not going to be as efficient as eg. a good FFP2 mask, because an FFP2 filter will not survive a washing cycle.

That having been said, you can generally reuse "disposable" FFP2 masks as well, as long as they've stayed dry and you leave them untouched for a while (so any virus particles on them can die out). Likewise, there are various ways to actively disinfect them, but that's a somewhat involved process to get right.

I use 3M Aura 9320+ masks, maximum 4 hours each, and then leave them for at least a week (but ideally longer) before reusing them again. If they are damaged or humid, I throw them out.
