Did you know that Puppy Linux:
- Could boot from CD/DVD and save your session *to that same CD/DVD* without any HDD present
- Had immutable self-contained application images like a decade ago, before it was cool
- Has a full-blown and feature-complete graphical music player written in... Bash
Even if I probably wouldn't use it as my daily driver, it's such an absurdly cool distro
@joepie91 Oh I actually used that. It was cool because it was the only Linux distro that decided "hey what if we just had NTLDR compatibility instead of only GRUB2?" so you could dual boot it with windows like trivially easy, *and Windows wouldn't wipe it because it knew it was there*.
Of course I never actually did much with it, but it was definitely neat.
