Are Github the creators of Git?
@joepie91 GitHub were creators of a user interface that surprisingly turned Git into something approachable.

@joepie91 My inclination when I don't know and someone asks a question like this is to say no, because that's likely the right answer and a common theme in the world.
@whatanerd @joepie91 there's a related "law" about headlines, called "Betteridge's law of headlines".
It's based on the assumption that if the publishers of a headline were confident that the answer was yes, they would present it as an assertion - when a headline is presented as question it's this unlikely that you can answer it with a certain "Yes!".

@joepie91 It's funny how the idea that the name "git" gives the answer away is justifiable regardless of whether you're thinking of the right or the wrong answer.
