I would also suggest that setting up a wiki of some sort may be useful to this end - this would allow contributions by many people (as one would have on eg. Twitter), but with an audit trail for edits, and the possibility to lock certain pages to known-good users if need be.

I can't commit to *maintaining* such a service for ADHD reasons, but I *can* help out with figuring out how to get stuff set up, finding a suitable hosting provider, etc.)
