i don't understand what order to (imperatively) translate, rotate/scale, translate to rotate or scale something in-place. i don't think anyone does. it's like usb i'm always wrong the first time and then i reverse it and i'm still wrong and i reverse it again and i'm right this time

i gotta juice the usb thing until everyone is actually on usb-c and forgets that this was ever a problem

@eevee I have bad news for you, not all USB-C devices implement the (required!) reversing circuitry to make connectors orientation-agnostic

@eevee (I love how this is actually *worse* than we had before - now the connector *physically* appears to fit but it just inexplicably won't work 50% of the time)

But surely the trademark will be used to decertify and sue vendors that do so because they're damaging the usability of the standard for all the other important companies that are invested in it, just like OpenGL forced everyone to actually implement the standard and not just leave entire features out because they felt like it. Right? Please?
