I want those who might strongly disagree with what I'm saying about content warnings to understand that talking about this is actually important.

People's minds do not change if no one comes along and presents a really good reason for them to reconsider.

Discussion is good.

Twitter exploding changes things, and it would be naive to think that the large number of users that are incoming would immediately just embrace new requirements that seem very odd without any logical explanation.

@crocodile The frustration I've seen (and experienced) around lacking CW use myself, is more to do with people not even taking the time or showing the interest to understand those reasons, and just declaring "nah, not gonna do that, deal with it".

I don't expect people to immediately understand. I *do* expect them to hang back for a bit and get a sense of a community and its norms before storming into it at full speed.
