So our illustrious dictator has snuck a fun little piece of Twitterization into the 4.0.0 mastodon release notes.
“Add reputation and followers score to SQL-only account search”.

This means accounts will rank higher in a non-elasticsearch search if they have more followers and boosts. Or a clout-chasing bonus, if you prefer.
