Sure love building webkitgtk for 2-3 hours because of a package I install from Nixpkgs master branch. See, when you install updates on other distros, you feel like you are stepping on a mine, because the update may or may not work. With #NixOS you know that it will work, but you still feel like you are stepping on a mine, because you may or may not have to build a browser or redownload the whole system due to entering a different universe where glibc is one patch version higher.
@joepie91 You know, because the package in question has to do with video games (probably Steam), I just assumed I’d want the latest version and unstable doesn’t always have it. So up until you asked I haven’t even thought of just using unstable for this.
You are probably right though, I just changed it. Oh, well, I spent these past couple of hours looking at the build log for nothing then… Not that it wasn’t fun, but not being able to use the laptop due to constantly being out of RAM sure was annoying.
