@srol I'd say that my main advice would be that different trackballs can feel and function *significantly* differently, much more difference than with typical 'regular' mice, and so if you have trouble with this one, it's worth trying a different one to see if it works better

@srol Oh yeah, and because accuracy (especially in gaming) is frequently a concern that people have: I now have an MX Ergo, and it allows me to be *much* more accurate (including in FPS games) than any other mouse I've used. Motor control issues probably do play a role there, but I'd say that it's entirely suitable for games that require fast response and accuracy. Not sure about other trackballs though.
