Licensing of community projects is widely disregarded by corporations, developers don't actually have the money to sue anyway, and I've seen no better success rate on legal threats than on simple (non-legally-backed) requests not to do something.

Copyright is fundamentally stacked in favour of corporate interests, and corporations know that. I don't think there's anything worth preserving here.
