I have an innocent question that I'm purely curious of as somebody who doesn't play games. I've noticed many gamers have a frames per second display on their screen while playing their video games. Why is that? I feel that's like if every movie I streamed I put the variable bitrate and download speed on the screen, in the corner. It's entertainment, I just want to have fun, I don't really care about the tech details behind it.
