I'd really like to try putting just a full-on Mastodon frontend/web UI in front of #GoToSocial and see how it feels. Did anyone work on separating the Mastodon frontend from the backend yet? 🤔 I seem to vaguely recall there was something like that for Pleroma but the memory escapes me because it's a sleepy Saturday afternoon

As far as I know no one has yet copied the mastodon frontend to try to separate it from the mastodon server
