Had a bit of a moment the other day when I realized the actual permacomputing/green computing ethos is pretty well embodied already in the /punk/ part of /cyberpunk/.

I get caught up in minmaxing certain elements of my projects too much sometimes and fail to see the big picture, this is the case if you've done something like spending a hundred bucks on extremely supply constrained SBCs rather than dumpster diving some EOL'd corpo refuse to do your computing on.

Shout outs to @forestjohnson for writing this: sequentialread.com/i-was-wrong and getting me thinking critically about this again.

@fack I just put in an order for a wyse 5070 thin client (Celeron J4105)

☑️ $35 (power and HD not included)
☑️ 8GB Ram
☑️ 10W TDP (passive heatsink, no fan)
☑️ CPU benchmarks 4x faster than Raspberry Pi 4
☑️ Works with SATA M.2 2280 (no nvme)
☑️ USB 3.0 (goes without saying)
