Listen. Never do a side by side taste comparison of grocery store honey vs. real stuff. You will become a Honey Snob. (probably a Maple Syrup Snob too)
It's legal to put "100% honey" on diluted products & you can taste it. "Raw honey" is more likely to be good. Me? I buy it only from someone who is constantly finding bees in their hair.
It's an expensive condition. My husband who eats honey like a bee in a burning house has become snobified. We are going broke because of him. 🙁
@lapis @futurebird from what I can find, it's actually the unfiltered/undiluted honey that crystalizes the most, because it happens when there's *low* water content (through evaporation, and there not being as much to begin with)
