I nearly got married at a pub once btw, little bit of trivia for you. A vague acquaintance was there and had just got all the legal stuff sorted so he could wed people and had some forms on him. I got married to a friend I was with but it was never filed. HOWEVER I'm not sure where that paperwork went so maybe I am actually married to a man known to most only by the name "Machine"
