I've seen quite a lot of people recommend Obsidian, so I had a look. It looks cool.
If you plan on using it for commercial use, check the licence - it's neither Free software, nor free software outside specific, limited, commercial uses.
(An observation, not a criticism!)

@neil I have no real experience with either (yet), but from what I've seen https://logseq.com/ is a recommended as a similar tool, with a foss license
