I hate flatpak and snaps both and can't wait for literally *all* of the software on my computer to start ignoring my system settings because people think they are a good idea

@researchfairy it's kind of interesting that the two approaches to software reproducibility + isolation are ignore all the system settings (snap/flatpak) or control everything with central system settings/config (nixos, guix)
@researchfairy @f0x out of curiosity, how does AppImage fit into this? does it also completely disregard system settings?
