i wonder if u can fav local only toots if u know the ID
i think you have to like write the code that will POST the Like activity because obviously u can't fetch it from your instance to be able to like it using mastoapi

@charlotte right yeah, I think you'd need the URI in that case because the ID is just an instance-specific abstraction?
@f0x yeah but you can construct a masto URI from an instance and an ID (and local-only posts dont have IDs other than on the... local instance)
