@secretlySamantha@tech.lgbt i'm still glad i moved away from php, but I do hear php7 is a lot nicer than previous versions. Majority of developers are probably still having to deal with worse legacy stuff to some degree though.

I moved to modern js, which gets even more hate as a language, but it's actually really good in so many aspects, the modern iterations are so different from the stuff that prompted the hate (at it's infancy, it was definitely not great)
