- The sessions will be on Matrix. It works much like Discord, but is an open platform.
- The sessions themselves are about 3 hours a week, but you will likely need quite a bit more self-directed time than that *outside* of the sessions, to make real progress.
- It is an absolute *requirement* that you be motivated to learn about using JS to its strengths, even if that may differ from what you are used to in other languages. There is a lot of JS bashing on the web, but if you approach it from a POV of language hate, you will get stuck.
- Obviously, there will be no tolerance of bigotry or other hateful or disruptive behaviour. The classes are meant to be a safe and comfortable environment. That doesn't mean there's no criticism on eg. technical approach, but it must always be constructive, not adversarial.
