i figured out what the whole microsoft account migration thing for minecraft is

they want your phone number

google voice is not accepted
i tried

idk guess i'm just getting locked out of my minecraft account

at least i didn't actually pay for this

video game capitalism is great right

if you paid for minecraft you can actually just lose access to the game because microsoft said so

ok so

i closed out of the phone number thing, opened a new private window and went through the migration flow creating a new microsoft account and _that time_ they didn't ask for a phone
