oof going to try hibernation to encrypted swap, then install windows on the new ssd :>
already off to a great start, the installer fails to fucking boot
took forever to create a new install usb from my laptop, now it's installing I think, finally
also seems to have accepted the license key I extracted from my thinkpad's EFI, which I also used in a vm previously
ok windows seems to have fucked up installing a bootloader, but maybe GRUB can now detect it (prefered route anyways)
also, hibernation worked!!! this will make switching between boots so much faster
