@theblacksquid I think hosting over tor hidden services or other overlay networks like Yggdrasil would work, but they require everyone else to participate in that network too to be able to access stuff
Am aiming for the server to be an online community that includes non-techie, but still radical, folx. Making it a hidden service might limit the community-building bit more than just being outside of megacorp-owned social media already does...

@theblacksquid yeah definitely. It could be a secondary avenue to access it's content though, in case anything happens to the vps/vpn, which you do kinda really need for the public net in this situation
