but matrix is still a perfectly fine concept. it's decentralized like mastodon, just use any instance besides matrix.org
@haskal yeah also like, the spec is with an actual foundation and things go well, I've also met multiple Element people irl (haha can you imagine meeting people irl) and genuinely think they have the best intentions with Matrix
seriously what's up with these people, it happened yesterday as well... they come into spaces as an outsider, make a stink about matrix, then you sigh and waste your time writing a reply explaining things and correcting their misconceptions and then they just make more of a stink or silently sneak away... stay on your platform if it's so great don't bother the rest of us
