- happy that 2nd half is routed too now
- oof realize parts are with slightly different track widths (0.508mm vs 0.635mm)
- happy realize that means I can do more routing puzzle

too many projects start with fun idea and i start routing but then i think more about the actual concept and what do i even need an 8x32 led matrix for.....

lile yeah, the routing/research was still fun but what purpose does actually making it then add

in short, i should probably put more designer thought into projects before rushing in

if anyone *would* like an led matrix like this though, please let me know lol, so it can be more tuned to a use-case

i take that as a 'no' then.

it's weird how i simultaneously quite like this design but also not at all

my main grip is the countless led matrices like this that already exist, for scrolling text etc, and it makes them quite boring

anyways im bored so im trying a different matrix chip, and streaming on my new peertube: stream.cthu.lu/videos/watch/7f (no sound cause im in a voicecall)

ok this is starting to 'feel' a lot nicer, time to get it routed

holy fuck

heavily considering turning this into a bootleg 4 layer board (can't do real 4 layer cause JLC doesn't support that with SMT), because I really can't wire the ESP32 like I first imagined, and I love the board size like this
