@stolas@elekk.xyz this really words well one of the reasons why I stopped playing. I just felt bad doing it at some point?
and playing for just the mechanics of laying out factories etc, I might as well just go design and route actually useful pcbs haha
@f0x @stolas I agree, I still think the game is fun and I I believe it was probably designed to be fun but without paying enough attention to what kind of message we take from it which is sort of shitty. (One of the two guys who started developing the game is an ancap btw and a few years ago had some kind of rant in a blog post about taxes and automation)
Playing the game for me is too similar to programming just with more visual aids, so I end up asking myself why I'm not just doing that instead.
