really video games are just a cheap replacement of the expansive magical words and stories we used to make up and play as kids

@ghost_bird true, maybe it's more me(/people) who are to blame, not the medium

@f0x Kids have more energy, fewer distractions, and a narrower range of experiences to work with, too. (And I think it’s easy to overestimate how much of childhood play is vivid storytelling. Memory is selective.)
