all I want is a simple screenshotter that can handle a rectangular selection on two screens. that is all I want. is that so much to ask for
"just use scrot" well guess what!! a) I want a GUI and b) it doesn't work properly. there are lines. where is your command line god now

@nonphatic well uh if you want to try it 'maim' is like scrot (so no GUI), but no lines, and does the multi monitor + area selecting/window select well
I have printscr bound to maim
and shift+printscr to maim -s to do the area/window select
@nonphatic actually both are combined with a thing to also put it on the clipboard which is nice, like
maim -u tmp.png && cat tmp.png | xclip -selection clipboard -t image/png
