Is puppeting like creating new accounts and sending messages as them rather than the bot account?

@amolith @selea@social.linux.pizza yep, resulting in an accurate member list, and being able to interact with them just like any other native accounts for the platform

@amolith @selea@social.linux.pizza both matrix-appservice-irc and mautrix-telegram do this well (I run both and am quite happy), for xmpp possibly github.com/matrix-org/matrix-b but im not sure how well that works
