@f0x i'm building a date/time range picker and part of the criteria is to have the time in and out of the component in timestamp form, but within the component, localize either to the user's browser tz _or_ to an arbitrarily-supplied tz.
it's probably not as hard as it feels with the brainfog from a cold haha.
