Time for another day of "trying to resist making your own static site generator". Is it me or is everything out there just wack
@f0x before I got into those, I absolutely made a static template system for my antipatterns site. if you can do better, especially in Java, please do.
@falkreon I most definitely won't write it in Java, gosh do I hate using that. If I write something it will most likely be NodeJS, probably with easy handlebars and sass support
@f0x ha - okay, that's workable tbh.
@f0x It is entirely wack.
still uses ikiwiki, because it's one of the few things that can be deeply customized and has good multilingual support, but doesn't enjoy using a big pile of Perl.
@f0x Why not just do it? Not only to help there be better resources for those who can't but for the challenge?
@PocketNerd I have way too many other projects on my plate, like my Matrix client. It's probably going on my TODO list tho :)
@f0x I hear ya, got a lot of ideas myself and have to cherry-pick what to do and what to put off till later.
@f0x handlebars is growing on me, and Jade wasn't bad (it became something else and who knows now).
