Streaming indie in 2026: You find a game you like, try to do research, decide to stream it and 10, 50, 100, 500, whatever people instantly go forth to see if what you're streaming is slop or made by an asshole or something and will form opinions about you based on what they find, possibly without even telling you.

And they have more collective research power and reach than you do.

I consider myself pretty careful and I've been burned by this... twice at this point that I'm aware of. It's justified in ways but is one of those cases where having a little good faith would be... good?

It's difficult.
