One of those random things that lives rent free in my head: years ago I had to do a weekend datacenter buildout.

Well after we wrapped up my extremely furry coworker revealed they brought their suit and ended up putting it on and doing silly "Furry in the DC" photos.

And some guy on Twitter got extremely up on about the power transfer systems in the background to the point that he asked vee to go back and take more detailed photos. A total rando to vee; not even someone I knew. When I didn't respond they DMed vee going "I'd really like you to get better photos of that I think I see a problem"

and my guy, that ain't my job or my problem and I'm gonna trust the multi-million dollar DC buildout plan over some rando on Twitter.

I just think about it sometimes.

@trysdyn and now these days it's probably preferrable for an electrical fault to take out a datacenter

...which isn't an attempt to incite any electric-type pokemon to induce such faults, certainly
