If you want to bond with Wren, you need to give her lots of kisses and accept lots of licks from her.
Grooming is super important to her and I've followed Joh's lead on this. She clearly understands kisses as grooming.
I haven't had other cats that respond this way to kisses or that are as licky as her, but since I've been kissing her head and letting her lick me, we've bonded a lot more!

@elfi aww! Wren often lifts her head to ask for kisses, especially if you've just kissed her. It's super sweet. And she almost always licks back after.
