@mos_8502 I won't fault someone for using 7, but the act of doing so is fraught with risk, so they'd better be aware of that. Speaking from personal experience, even just connecting a Windows 2000 system to the open internet in the days of XP turned into a nuke-and-pave situation in seconds
@mos_8502 Thankfully even NAT provides a rudimentary layer of protection and is a lot more ubiquitous than it was back then
