The guy got the Vengeful Soul, but is currently stuck in the Crossroads because he has not found the way out towards Greenpath yet, despite having jumped past the ledge with the green decoration several times.
However, he HAS pogoed up the spikes to fight the Brooding Mawlek XD
Ah, he studied the map and noticed he missed one exit!
Oh no, that was the grub you pogo to.

He just fought Hornet, and he didn't find the Stag station with the bench first, and he has no map because before the place where Cornifer sits he just dropped down the hole in the ground instead of following the trail of paper, the start of which was visible...
OMG, he stood in front of the Stag station, with the sign right there, and didn't go through.

This being a blind playthrough, him missing visual cues like the only green leaves in the Crossroads, and the pieces of paper that lead to Cornifer, and the giant teeth marking the way to the Hunter, I shouldn't hold that against him.
Bit noticing the bench between the toll-locked gates only the second go-around when it's right there, or missing the Stag station SIGN... I think I'm better at picking up visual clues than he is.

He got lost, got back to the screen where you see the paper, and went "no" and turned around, and checked out the corridor with the Hunter, and turned around when the Hunter roared. (Mind, the second is reasonable, given he needs to find his ghost again).
Poor sod.
That's why I do like getting at least a few hints. If someone had told him "look out for sheets of paper", he might have a map and not be lost.

*facepalm* he went to Salubra, looked at the charms, is like "well, I don't think I'd use any of those unless I got more charm notches", and leaves saying "I thought that would be more interesting"...
The charm notches were VISIBLE in the list while he was scrolling, but he did not look at them, and from his comment didn't NOTICE them. IS HE PRETENDING!? IS HE DOING THAT ON PURPOSE?!?!?!
😆

"I would like to see a bench", he says 5 second after dropping down through the floor next to the bench with Quirrel sitting on it in near the entrance of the City of Tears.
He also said the same just after entering the Mantis Village, when he must have passed at least 2 bench signs in the room before?
He's really good at pogoing and if he slows down at fights too, but the stuff he misses despite it being *right there* is frustrating.

@Anke Half of me watching other people play things for the first time is the chance to vicariously enjoy it through them like it's my first time again. The other half is seeing how they approach things differently. The unaccounted for third half is screaming silently as they miss things
