I understand some of where trans folk are coming from when they rage against the cis. I've read a lot of very hurtful comments that were not specifically directed at me, and kept silent because who hasn't said hateful things when so deeply hurt? Arguing with that would only reinforce it.

Still, I wish there were something I could do that I'm not already doing to prove that cis people, at least some of us, do actually care about trans people. You don't need to be an "egg" (a separate argument for a later time) to care about someone other than yourself.
