I feel particularly aggrieved that the bananas that were green when I bought them 4 days ago are still partly green in places, and mostly black on top of yellow everywhere else. It's not acceptable for bananas to just be ripe *on average*.

@elfi Oh, can that happen? If they get knocked around while unripe, they could have invisible bruising that doesn't show until they ripen?
