I guess it goes to show how out of the speedrunning loop I am that I only just now found out one of the big GDQ main characters got a massive abuse receipt stack dropped about him over a month ago.

My only real response to it is a realization that I've been disappointed so often by people that at some point I changed. When this happened to a youtuber I was a massive fan of, I was actually pretty upset. This time it's just like "Okay well that sucks, I'll watch someone else"

and honestly that's how it should be. You don't know these people unless you know these people. You know the persona they project on screen seldom enough to keep a facade.
