I keep seeing news about Concord launching and then announcing shutdown after a miserable failure and I think two things...

You know the marketing is biffed when the first time I've heard about a AAA studio game is its closure announcement.
Damn Concord looks like the kind of game you have on the TV in the background of a crime drama when the hard boiled cop kicks down the door of the tech nerd to use his skills to decrypt the bad guy's hard drives or something.

@trysdyn I've seen some ad spots on Twitch but I kept mixing them and the CoD6 ads also airing for each other in how much I wanted to get away from both of them

@elfi That's the funny thing about it. I've never even heard of this til the shutdown, but people keep telling vee they pushed marketing so hard people were comparing it to Raid Shadow Legends.

I must just run in very different circles than their targets.

@trysdyn I wonder what the geographic distribution of people who learned about it vs those who didn't is... Because it would've had a lot less ad competition on Twitch outside of the US, where ads are a LOT more anemic. Twitch can never find a full 3 minutes of ads for me during ad breaks lmao
