The more I research into it, the more I think people should be grabbing their FA archives immediately.

Unfortunately the states involved in the legals don't just give you free access to business data like I'm used to, so I can't be entirely sure. Only mostly.

Further complication: Archiveteam doesn't like dealing with furries. The reasons mostly come down to Do Not Repost and furry artist tendency to aggressively enforce this.

This is valid reasoning of course. "They don't want their art reposted" is pretty clear.

We'll probably have to do this ourselves. Even if it turns out unnecessary, we should give a think to this as a problem.

@trysdyn Yeah, this is best done on a personal basis for posterity's sake

Unfortunately, there are a good number of other folks on FA who are no longer with us either, a friend of mine included, and I don't know what to do about that

@elfi That's the thinker here yes. Also people who assumed FA would be around forever and their DNP policies wouldn't result in complete extinction of their work. That one is less of a giant ethical mountain I think because if they're around you can ask them.

I'm of the mind that we can fix an overgrab, we can't fix an undergrab. But that one's a spicy opinion I know.

@trysdyn Well, whatever you figure out, personal request: can you back up Kaeko's content on there?
