I was really excited to put this 7" PC Compatibility PCI card in a Power Macintosh 7300 and do some Windows/Macintosh dual booting. But no matter what OS/software version I tried I could NOT get it to boot. And then just now... the magic smoke came out. :(

I also found a 300MHz PowerPC G3 daughtercard, and I had this vision of a turbocharged quad-booting MacOS / Windows / BeOS / MKLinux time capsule of 1990s home computing.

But the daughtercard maxes out at 233MHz in a 7300, BeOS won't boot at all on a G3, and the aforementioned PC compatibility card is missing its smoke. The moral is, I don't think I have a career as a stunt retrocomputing youtuber.
