My main issue with most D&D video game adaptations is that you can never play a warforged artificer.

My previous GMs never allowed me to play either a warforged or an artificer, and there are no video games I know of where you can.

@TakeV Also the people who don't let you play an interesting character concept are so terribly boring. A lot of my favourite campaigns were the ones where the GM said "yeah, sounds fun" to everything as long as you had a story to tell with it
