Tried the Tyrian apworld tonight. It's got some rough spots for certain but I was able to get it configured to be playable and it's quite neat.
When you can't just get a bunch of credits in Episode 1's wealth of bonus stages and explode the game with Tier 11 Sonic Wave, and you have to actually be good, it can get rough. I'm not good :P

...this sounds like it could be interesting though, I managed all the way to the end of episode 2 in Lord of the Game difficulty so I'm curious o: then again, my reflexes aren't nearly as good as they used to be
@elfi Well I eventually ended up with laser and two plasma storms. :P
But yeah it's neat. Just it doesn't really support anything past episode 2 yet and has some rough spots I had to polish out with a couple broken seeds.
