I know, I know, I said I was done computerposting and I wanted to be done computerposting because computers are horrible woeboxen, but here we go. Mute me for a day or two, I'll post better stuff soon.

Anyway game devs, or really anyone with too many projects along many different areas of expertise and too much disk space, what do your home or documents folders look like? Say I've already done a raccoon game and I wanna do a bunny game, does my home folder look like

music/
-bun
-rac
sfx/
-bun
-rac
psd/
-sprites/
--bun/
--rac/
-bg/
--bun/
--rac/
notes/
-bun/
-rac/
code/
-bun
-rac

Or does it look more like

bun/
-music/
-sfx/
-psd/
--sprites/
--bg/
-notes/
-code/
rac/
-music/
-sfx/
-psd/
--sprites/
--bg/
-notes/
-code/

Or do you just have one folder full of files called bunSprite092finalusethisone.psd right next to raclevel1testnotes.txt

Generally How Do You Do Computer Hoard

DIFFICULTY LEVEL: I'm gonna set this crap up to backup/sync with Nextcloud, some of it's gonna go on my phone, there's no sense in me having bunsprite.psd on my phone but bunnote.txt would be handy to have on there

Follow

@ifixcoinops I absolutely sort by project, and usually keep my dev notes/WIPs in with the repository even
