All the crap going on with Mastodon.social and the software makes me wanna learn Go tbh
@elfi I'm sorry to say I have no idea what that is about.
@mos_8502 I'm not in a position to readily dig up references, but I'm referring to the planned updates to include quote posts + search + stuff, the changes to joinmastodon to prioritize .social and other large servers with no signup verification, and the predictable flood of spam from it thereafter
@elfi I'm happy on my current server. I'm fine with or without quote posts -- I will use them positively if available, and not care if they're not.
