3D printing question: how are resin/Stereolithography printers in comparison to FDM printers on the issue of reliability and simplicity to use?
Because I've had several FDM printers and there's been way too much adjustmenting and repairing and fiddling to get them to print even remotely right. Are resin printers any better on that axis?

@foone They are a fair bit fiddlier since they require post-processing, but are less disastrous with failed prints and the precision is amazing, so if you need fine detail I super recommend it

Also, I recommend using simple green instead of alcohol, makes the post-processing a lot better to deal with

@foone Also of course, it stands to be said that if your print is going to be exposed to UV light a lot, there's a fair bit more finishing work to be involved to mitigate that
