VRchat terminology weirdness
one weird thing to come out of the VRChat debacle is exposing how the small, weird, snitchy minority of users against mods does not understand the word "client" at all
like how they keep saying people that use mods are "client users" and "clients are against TOS"
like they heard the term "modded client" and don't know what a client is but now they just assume it means mod and client are synonyms

to be clear in case anybody is confused by this: a "client" is just a piece of software that connects to a server, so the vrchat program that you "play" is already a client as it connects to vrchat servers
you are ALL "client users"
a "modded client" is a client that has been changed to have functionality not present in the normal client

I suppose it tracks that people rooting for EAC and against mods don't understand how any of this works from a technical standpoint, though, doesn't it?
